Greetings from Bawku. It has been a long time since we last communicated. I have been out of town for almost one month. In fact, after this year’s conflict, I have been having some thoughts about my stay here in Bawku. Many times I have given the idea of leaving Bawku a serious thought. But fortunately I have finally decided to stay for one last year at least to see through what I have started in Woriyanga.

I am so sorry that the situation here caused this break in our communications. I am sure at some point you gave up on me out of frustration.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of the medical equipment you sent to us for Woriyanga Clinic.

Below is the list of equipment that we received. I just check through them today and everything is intact. The Woriyanga vehicle will be here tomorrow (All clinics/health centres come for supplies on Wednesdays) to pick them up after a brief official presentation. This will be photographed for the records. The pictures will get to you in very good time, I promise you.

At this juncture I wish to, on behalf of the Woriyanga people and indeed the people of this district and on my own behalf, to thank you sincerely for all the effort you put in to get us these life saving equipment. We pledge that they will be put to good use for the better health of the people we serve.
